Guided Hunting

Big Game Trophy Hunting

High success rates and good trophy quality are what are clients come for and it’s the reason why they keep coming back, year after year. Our guide territory supports 13 different species of big game as well as Trapline Hunts, Upland Bird Hunting, Waterfowl Hunting, and Freshwater Fishing.

Junior Hunters

Junior hunters (10 – 18 years old) accompanied by grandparent, parent, or guardian can go on a customized hunt. Younger hunters aged 10 – 13 can hunt with a parent or guardian and shoot on an adult tag, and those aged 14 – 18 can shoot on their own tag and license while accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Deer

We’re also able to offer our clients additional experiences individually or as add-ons to a primary animal. These include:

Trapline Hunts

Target Species: Wolf, Coyote, Fisher, Marten, Mink, Weasel, Beaver, Muskrat, Squirrel, Otter, and Wolverine

Step back in time and join us for a 7-Day Trapline Hunt out of the hunt lodge, or in an authentic trapline cabin. Spend each day on the line with our licensed trapper Stew, learning how to identify and read the story left by tracks in the snow, while learning how to set traps, locate target species, and process the catch.

At the end of the day, relax either in our full-service wilderness lodge or return to the line cabin for a hot meal and an early night. This adventure appeals to outdoors enthusiasts of all ages. Bring along your son, daughter, or grandchild for a fun and educational experience.

Upland Bird Hunting

Target Species: Blue Grouse, Spruce Grouse, and Ruffed Grouse, and Arctic and Rock Ptarmigan

We’re one of the few places for a “Grouse Grand Slam” with big blues, spruce, and ruffed grouse along with arctic and rock ptarmigan. We hunt all types of terrain and all elevations of the mountains. Bag limit is liberal: 5 a day, 15 possessions.

Upland birds are a great add-on to any fall hunt, and can be an exciting new challenge to even the most seasoned wing shooter.

Waterfowl Hunting

Target Species: Canada Geese, Snow Geese, and Ross’s Geese, Mallard Ducks, Pintail Ducks, Harlequin Ducks, Canvasback Ducks, and Goldeneye Ducks

Located on the edge of the Pacific Flyway, geese and ducks frequently favour our mountain sloughs and clear water marshes on their journey to their wintering grounds in the south.

Waterfowl are a ranch-based hunt. Whether you favour hunting from a blind or jump shooting small ponds, our location will accommodate many styles of hunting. Fishing Guido and his German Wirehaired Pointer will take you on a bird hunting adventure with lots of action. You can bring your own dog on these hunting trips.

Freshwater Fishing

Whether you’re a trout-fishing enthusiast or a novice angler with an urge to hook a magnificent rainbow trout, our remote mountain lakes, rivers, ponds, and streams within our million-acre (400,000 hectare) angling guide territory will fulfil your dreams.

Choose daily from a variety of lakes, rivers, and streams for wild rainbow, brook, Dolly Varden trout, and kokanee salmon. Learn the art of fly-fishing from our licensed guides. They’ll teach you lake and stream fishing techniques and casting skills through both wet and dry fly presentations.

Testimonial “To say that I was a novice fisherman is an understatement — I didn’t even know which way to turn the crank on the fishing rod. Fortunately, the trout in lake were most obliging, and I was able to catch my own breakfast every morning with little effort.” Rob Harrison Quebec, Canada
