Cougar, Mountain Lion, and Puma
Hunts in southwestern British Columbia are mostly for toms that make the SCI book with a minimum of 14 inch (35 centimetre) skulls. We’ve even taken toms that score 15¼ inches (38 centimetres) in the B&C Record Book weighing 150 to 200 pounds (68 to 90 kilograms). They make impressive full-body mounts!
These are lodge-based hunts with all the amenities. We hunt December to March and cut fresh tracks by 4x4 and snowmobile, then put our Blue Tick Hounds to work. As add-ons you can use bow and rifle for cougar, lynx, and bobcat. Wolf and coyote are taken on the frozen lakes with long-distance shooting. Traditional trapline hunts are also available as add-ons.
